He married twice. He married, first, Jane Maria Addison 27 September 1868 in Saint Martins, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England. Jane was born 6 Oct 1840 in Carters Green, West Bromwich, Staffordshire, England and died in Oct/Dec 1875 in Kings Norton, Worcestershire, England. Jane was the daughter of William Samuel Addison and Rebecca Howle. He married second, Alice Ann Chatwin on 11 Sep 1881 in Harborne, Staffordshire, England. Alice was born in 1862 to Thomas Chatwin (1822 - 1887) and Martha Nock (1830 - 1862). Notes:

65 i. Thomas Alfred Harvest5 was born in July 1869 in Swan Village, Stafford, England according to both the 1871 and 1881 census. He was christened 20 August 1871 in Smethwick, Staffordshire, England. Thomas came to New York in 1890 and joined his cousin William H. Harvest in Bridgeport CT. They lived together at 156 Harrall ave, Bridgeport, CT and worked at Ashcroft Mfg. Co. In 1894 Thomas moved to New York City. Thomas appears on a ship manifest (SS Campania) which arrived in NYC on 11 Aug 1906. He states that he was born in Penkridge, Staffordshire in 1870 and that he is a Non-Immigrant Alien living at 137 Wilson Street, Brooklyn, New York. Thomas died 21 June 1909 of tuberculosis. According to his death certificate, he worked as a waiter and had lived in New York for 20 years. His death certificate states that He was married at the time of his death, although no documentation of a marriage has been discovered to date.

66 ii. Francis Charles5 Harvest was christened 20 August 1871 in Smethwick, Staffordshire, England. Died in the Summer o f 1875 in King's Norton, Worcestershire, England at age 4.

child 68 iii. Percy Harvest was born about 1890 in Smethwick, Staffordshire, England. Enlisted in the Army for World War I on 8 August 1914 as an engine driver. Discharged on 27 Jul 1917 with Trench Foot and Pneumonia "probaly permanent", 1/4 disabled. Percy Served in France 10 Nov 1914 to 26 Sep 1916 with the 6th Cheshire Regiment. He received the 1914 Star, BW Medal, and Victory Medal. Next of kin stated as Mrs C Harvest, mother (resides Witchford, Ely Cambridgeshire). Percy married Alice M. Jenkinson in Jan/Mar 1918 in Aston, Staffordshire. They had Alice A. Harvest b. in 1920. She married James McMahon in 1943. Percy died in Birmingham England in 1968.
