Rachel died 1745 in Malden, Middlesex, MA, at 41 years of age. Joseph and Mary both, most likely, died in 1745. Their children became wards of the Town.

child + 728 ii. Mary Ramsdell was born 29 December 1736.

child 1162 iii. John Ramsdell was born in Malden, Worcester, MA 5 April 1741. John died 1825 in Malden, Worcester, MA, at 84 years of age. He married Mary Sweetser 27 November 1764 in Malden, Middlesex, MA. John was indentured to Edward Wayte, of Malden, on 14 Jan 1745/1746 when he was 5 years old. Edward Wayte was "obliged to learn said child to read, Wright and cypher and also to learn him the Shoemakers trade." John became "a landowner and a respected citizen. As a Christian he was a shining light in the Church. His character was beyond reproach, and his influence was always exercised for good. He was chosen one of the Deacons of the First Church in 1776 and continued in that office for nearly 50 years, until his death in 1825.
